Scholarships for Arizona's CFEs

   
 

ACFE-Phoenix, Arizona Chapter 2009 Academic Scholarship

   
  2010 Chapter Scholarship
 

This application is for the AZ ACFE Chapter Scholarship for the Spring/Fall 2010 academic year. A total of five Scholarship Awards in the amount of $1,000 each will be made to exceptional students who best demonstrate integrity, a passion for fighting fraud and a commitment to the profession.  In addition to the cash award, each Scholarship winner will receive complimentary membership to the National Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and a one-year subscription to Fraud Magazine. 

Applicants must be currently enrolled as full-time undergraduate or graduate students taking at least twelve semester hours or full-time equivalent each term, presently in attendance at any Accredited Arizona University.  Applicants must also have a declared major in accounting, criminology, or criminal justice.   

Applications will be accepted from January 15, 2010 through June 30, 2010.

The scholarship awards will be made at the discretion of the AZ ACFE Scholarship Committee on the basis of academic achievement, as demonstrated by official transcripts, an application essay, three letters of recommendation, and a face-to-face interview with each Applicant.

  2009 Chapter Scholarship
 

We are pleased to announce the ACFE-Arizona Chapter Academic Scholarship in the amount of $1,000 each to the students listed below:

Mr. Martin Popov, from Arizona State University, and
Mr. Jesse Tucker, from the University of Arizona

The applicants were required to have a declared major in accounting, criminology, or criminal justice. These scholarships are awarded by the ACFE Arizona Chapter’s Scholarship Committee based on academic achievement demonstrated by official transcripts, application essay and three letters of recommendation. We would like to thank the members of the ACFE Arizona Chapter Scholarship Committee, chapter members Joshua Advincula, Allison Tims, and Patty Huling, our chapter secretary.

   
 
  The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) supports the education of collegiate accounting and criminal justice students who aspire to become Certified Fraud Examiners (CFEs). Hence...

The ACFE Scholarship Awards for 2006-07 are available to full-time accounting and criminal justice majors.  The program provides $1,000 scholarship awards for up to 30 students.
